Instructions for updating MBS Fees in PracSoft

01/05/2008 - Medicare Benefit Schedule (MBS) Fees

There are three (3) different fee update files available for download (please verify your PracSoft version before proceeding):

• MBS Fee update for PracSoft 1
• MBS Fee update for PracSoft 2 to PracSoft 3.1.57
• MBS Fee update for PracSoft 3.1.2 and Above

Instructions to Renew PKI Certificates

1. Click on the filename link to print out the instructions for updating the "Medicare Australia PKI Certificate Renewal for PracSoft" for use with Medicare Australia Online Claiming.
2. After reading the instructions you will find that you need to download the latest PKI Certificate Manager Installer (Download now to save time).
3. Staff must close PracSoft (and Medical Director if also using PKI) when you perform the instructions, which should normally be run on the server.
